Clarke Enhanced History Project - Celebrate African Excellence
Posted on April 05 2025
The Clarke Enhanced History Project, curated by renowned historian Anthony T. Browder, is an immersive exhibition showcasing 8,000 years of African excellence. Opening on April 12, 2025, at the Thurgood Marshall Center in Washington, DC, this transformative exhibit features 16 vibrant murals narrating the history of African migration, culture, and achievement. It traces the journey from the Nile to the Niger and the Potomac, offering a unique educational experience for all visitors.
Why Visit the Clarke Enhanced History Project?
This exhibition enriches the Egypt on the Potomac field trips and sheds light on ancient African civilizations, including the Kingdom of Kush and the Olmec Civilization. As Browder explains, "We are obligated to reach back in time and create a new chronology." This project restores erased narratives, inspiring all to embrace their cultural heritage.
